4.1 Storage Location

4.2 Document Security & Data Retention
Your documents are secure with us:
- Original files deleted immediately: We delete your uploaded PDF, DOCX, or DOC files right after extracting the text—usually within seconds of upload
- Only parsed text retained: We keep only the extracted text content needed for analysis, not the original document files
- Complete deletion on request: When you delete an analysis from your account, all records—including the extracted text, risk scores, and analysis results—are permanently removed from our database
- No persistent document storage: We never store your original contract files long-term, minimizing data breach risks
- Account data: Retained while your account is active
- Contract files: Automatically deleted immediately after text extraction is completed
- Analysis results: Retained indefinitely (stored in database). Users can delete their analyzed contracts at any time, which will permanently delete all associated text and analysis data.
- Billing records: Retained by our payment processor (Stripe) as required for legal and tax compliance
5. Data Sharing
5.1 Third-Party Service Providers
We share information with trusted third parties:
- Stripe: Payment processing (read their Privacy Policy)
- Anthropic: AI processing (Claude API) — contract text is transmitted for analysis. Anthropic does not train on API data.
- OpenRouter: AI gateway service, used as an alternative or fallback AI provider. Contract text may be transmitted through OpenRouter to reach an underlying AI model. We restrict all OpenRouter requests to providers that do not train on user data.
- Linode: Hosting and data storage
5.2 We Do NOT Sell Your Data
We will never sell your personal information or contract content to third parties.
